MKA is made up of a group of highly organized experts in Food and Beverage, Communications, Research and Development, Business Development and Operations.

Our backgrounds include independent restaurants, hotel and restaurant chains, food manufacturing, food equipment development and design, product development, nutrition and wellness, mixology, journalism and  food and beverage photography.


Members of our chef team have held critical positions with top industry chefs Thomas Keller, Tom Colicchio, Jean Georges Vongerichten, Marcus Samuelson, Michael Tusk,  Jody Denton and Marc Valiani. We have worked with chefs like David Burke, Jose Andres, Cat Cora, John Rivera Sedlar, Martin Rios, Mark Miller and many others on independent projects.

On the corporate side, members of our team have been employed in senior positions with companies like M.Shanken Communications (Food Arts and the Wine Spectator), ConAgra Foods, Kraft, General Foods, ARAMARK, Noble and Associates, and the Rouse Company.

Additionally, MKA has worked with consulting companies like Bain, and major equity groups who have invested in the restaurant industry, including Sun Capital, Grassmere Partners and Centerbridge.
